It's harvest season, and in the Catskills, the veggies are gorgeous. So are the cows, barns and the farmers themselves. (Just ask Real Simple Magazine, which just ran a photo spread of six women farmers from the region.)
That means it's time for our annual Catskills Food Guide Photo Contest, once again sponsored by the Peekamoose Restaurant & Tap Room in Big Indian.
Send us your best photo of Catskills food and bounty for a chance to win the grand prize, a $75 gift certificate to the Peekamoose, or a shot at being on one of the covers of the print 2016 Catskills Food Guide, which comes out in January. (We're selling ads for the guide now, too--reach 20,000 avid readers in the Catskills, NYC and beyond. For info on buying an ad, click here.)
Photos of Catskills foods, farms, farmers or food-related subjects are all eligible. The idea is to showcase the incredible bounty of our region.
You've got a month to email us the perfect shot.
