40-year-old Kingston resident Scott Albright was arrested yesterday, after his four-year-old son was found wandering in a road in the town of Esopus. The Ulster County Sheriff's Office reports:

The Ulster County Sheriff's Office is reporting that its deputies arrested two men in Port Ewen early this morning for making "loud and unreasonable" noise and then breaking and attempting to steal a decorative tugboat.

A 51-year-old burglar reportedly startled a homeowner in his own house yesterday morning.

Tragedy struck in Esopus this afternoon when 22-year-old Thomas Heil was struck and killed by a CSX train. His brother, 20-year-old Christopher Heil, was also on the tracks, and sustained a shoulder injury.
