How to Survive a Plague, filmmaker David France's look at about the rise and impact of the AIDS advocacy group Act Up, is playing at Mountain Cinema in Hunter this weekend. The film was recently nominated for an Oscar, among its many other honors -- come see what the Academy recognized in our local filmmaker's work (France and his husband live in New Kingston).
