Just a couple of months ago, we were worried about the mighty Kaaterskill Falls, which was reduced to a mere trickle by mid-summer drought. A little rain makes all the difference.
Reader Jennifer Strom sent us this recent photo of Bastion Falls in full roar, half a mile downstream from the Kaaterskill. The photo was taken late Friday afternoon by her husband Bill Strom.
