On November 20, 2016 at about 4:30 PM Delaware County deputies along with Downsville Fire Department were dispatched to a report of a missing hunter in the Campbell Brook area in the Town of Colchester. Deputies and Fire personnel located the vehicle of the missing hunter on Morton Brook Road. Services were summoned from the NYS Environmental Conservation Police, NYS Forest Rangers, Roscoe-Rockland Fire Department and the Colchester Police Department. Following a lengthy search, members located Steve Quinn, 24, of Ocean Side, NY. Quinn was found in good health and subsequently brought out of the forest where he was treated by members of Downsville EMS and released.
