Just a quick note to report that tonight is the Shandaken Democratic caucus. It's taking place at 7pm at Glenbrook Park on State Route 42. (In a hat tip to Tom Rinaldo, we're running the lovely photo of the donkey above to complement his photo on last week's post about the Republican caucus.)
We hear that Catskill Rose owner and former town supervisor Peter DiSclafani, Catskill Mountainkeeper High Peaks Region director Kathleen Nolan, and Mama's Boy owner Michael Koegel will all be throwing their hats into the Democrats' political ring tonight.
