Government-hating Stone Ridge resident Richard Ulloa, who spent last year demanding trillions of dollars from various banks and government officials who had crossed him, is in jail again this week. Ulloa was arrested in June on four counts of mail fraud relating to his various attempts to extract money from government officials, but he was soon released on bail. Now, according to the New York State Police, Ulloa has been investigated and indicted a second time -- on a second set of charges that are secret. From the State Police press room:
Kingston and the Ulster County District Attorney’s Office report the arrest of Richard E. Ulloa 51 years of age from Stone Ridge. Ulloa was arrested following an investigation that culminated with a sealed indictment warrant being issued by the Supreme Court in Ulster County. The arrest warrant issued following the indictment charged Ulloa with four counts of Offering a False Instrument for Filing in the 1st degree, a felony. Ulloa was processed at the State Police barracks and Kingston and remanded into the custody of the Ulster County Jail until his arraignment on 10/19/10. Ulloa is set to appear in Superior Court in Ulster County at that time.
