Although Walker Valley in Ulster County was recently the scene of some unpleasantness about small-scale farms, it looks like Acorn Hill Farm is doing well enough to need some extra hands. The farm just posted a job listing for a capable, heavy-load-lifting intern. A stipend and free goat milk will be provided:
We are looking for a hard working strong individual with an interest in organic management of goats who can follow instructions and take responsibility for multiple tasks. In addition interns will work in the creamery and attend farmer’s markets.
