CALLING ALL ACTORS
The Open Eye Theater will hold auditions for actors, teens to seniors at all acting levels for “Summer Shortcuts IV”. If you’re an actor or have ever dreamed of someday being one, this is your opportunity.
“Summer Shortcuts IV” consists of several plays chosen from dozens of works: comedies, dramas and mysteries submitted by playwrights from across the USA. The plays are innovative, surprising, powerful and each is less than ten minutes long. These plays will be performed at The Open Eye Theater from August 7 through August 17th.
Auditions will be held Sunday June 29th from 2:00 – 4:30 PM. If you can’t be there, call us at 845-586-1660 or email to openeye@catskill.net to schedule another time. Your audition consists of reading from the script.
Rehearsals start on Monday, July 14th. The schedule will be flexible. We also need a Stage Manager and stage crew.
Everyone involved in “Summer Shorts lV” will receive a small stipend. Be a part of “Summer Shortcuts IV” and make this a summer you will always remember.
