An 87-year-old Narrowsburg woman is missing after being last seen at 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 15 getting gas in Binghamton, according to the New York State Police in Liberty and the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services, which has put out an alert in 17 counties in an attempt to find her.

Louise E. Scheurich is a "vulnerable adult with dementia," according to the alert, and "may be in need of medical attention."
She was driving a beige 2000 Dodge Neon with New York license plates reading AJU-2836, and was last seen last night getting fuel near exit 79 on Route 17 in Binghamton, police say.
She may have been heading towards her home in Narrowburg, but she could be in any one of a large number of nearby counties, including many in the Catskills, according to the alert. Anyone who has seen Scheurich or her car should call the New York State Police in Liberty at 845-292-6600 or 911.
