On Saturday October 8, 160 people attended the Windham Mountain benefit dinner and auction. Many of the people who attended the benefit are second-homeowners wanting to let the town know they will have their support during the recovery process.

A total of $171,790 was raised in support of recovery efforts for the town of Windham. All proceeds were donated to the Windham Chapter of the Catskill Mountain Foundation, which in turn will use funds to assist in ongoing recovery efforts  in the Town of Windham.

The benefit is a continuation of a partnership between Windham Mountain and the Windham Chapter of the Catskill Mountain Foundation in which Windham Mountain is using its website to publicize donations for the Windham Chapter.  Donations can still be made at the Catskill Mountain Foundation's website or the Windham Mountain Web Store.
