Democratic nominee for Catskill town justice Michael Smith didn't file his paperwork for his candidacy correctly, a judge has ruled, according to the Daily Mail:
A decision made Wednesday by Albany County Court Judge Joseph C. Teresi has ordered town of Catskill justice candidate Michael Smith off the November ballot’s Democratic Party line.
Chalk up another blooper for Greene County's politicos. (Don't worry, though -- Smith covered his bases by creating an independent party line to run on, so he's still on the ballot.)
