Remember last week's shooting on Clinton Avenue? There's another victim, and he's apparently a fearsomely stoic individual. Scott Nesbitt, who police say was walking with victim Raymond Smith and another man when the bullets began flying, has been going around since last Thursday with a bullet wound completely through his leg.
Matthews added that in the course of their investigation, police found a second victim who had been wounded during the shooting. He said officers found Scott Nesbitt, 31, of Kingston, early Tuesday afternoon and learned he had been shot in the right leg. The bullet went completely through Nesbitt’s leg and he did not seek medical attention after fleeing the scene, Matthews said. He said officers took Nesbitt to Kingston Hospital for treatment.
Odds on Nesbitt's cooperating with police in the continuing search for shooting suspect Albert "Burt" Lawing: Probably not so good.
