While Peter Dinnocenzo was managing Woodstock's Cumberland Farms gas station convenience store on Mill Hill Road in Ulster County in 2013 and 2014, he was stealing $48,000 in lottery scratch-off tickets, the New York State Police said this week.

Police arrested 43-year-old Dinnocenzo on Wednesday, March 25 and charged him with felony third-degree grand larceny, according to a state police press release.

According to the Daily Freeman, Dinnocenzo got lucky on a few of those scratch-offs:

State police Investigator Chris Baker said Dinnocenzo “did cash in some winnings, amount unknown” from the stolen tickets.
