Forestburgh highway superintendent charged with driving drunk

The highway superintendent of the Sullivan County town of Forestburgh was arrested on a drunk driving charge by the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office on Nov. 28, according to Alex Beam at the Times Herald-Record.

Beam reports that neither the highway superintendent, 48-year-old Daniel Hogue, nor the Sheriff's Office want to discuss the incident. The Sheriff's blotter shows that Hogue allegedly crashed a 2008 Jeep in the town of Thompson before being booked and charged with DWI, Beam writes.

Time Warner Cable News reports that the supervisor of the town of Thompson will discuss the incident at an upcoming town meeting.
