Three Greene County men arrested for Durham home invasion

Three Greene County men -- 20-year-old Patrick Hutchings of Cairo, and 22-year-old Jacob E. Connors and 23-year-old David K. Moore of Catskill -- have been arrested after an investigation into a burglary of a home and the assault of its owner in Durham on Sunday, April 8.

State troopers announced that the three men face charges of burglary in the second degree, and Moore faces additional charges:

DAVID MOORE was additionally charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th Degree, a class E Felony, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th Degree, a class A Misdemeanor.  The three men were arraigned before Town of Cairo Justice Lee Miller.  DAVID MOORE was remanded to the Greene County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond; and HUTCHINGS and CONNORS were remanded on $10,000 cash bail or $25,000 bond.  The State Police were assisted during this investigation by the Village of Catskill Police Department and the Greene County District Attorney Terry Wilhelm.
