Sullivan Co. updates dry ice locations, road closures

Sullivan County released updated information this afternoon, listing current road closures, dry ice distribution locations, storm resources, shelters and more.

Note: The information on the county site erroneously lists the Lumberland town hall as a shelter. Watershed Post spoke to Lumberland town supervisor Nadia Rajsz around 3pm. They had just opened the Town Hall as a warming station, and they have about 100 pounds of dry ice to distribute. Also water and hot coffee.

Contrary to info coming out of Sullivan County, Lumberland Town Hall is not open as an overnight shelter. Rajsz says: "We are here just til 5 or 6:00. Tomorrow we're hoping our town offices will be open. People are welcome to come here to get warm, get water and coffee, but not overnight."
