A Brooklyn man was arrested in Liberty yesterday for driving drunk on a golf cart. (And without a license, to boot.) The State Police press release:
Fransisco Rosendo of Brooklyn , NY was arrested for Aggravated DWI after Troopers stopped him for operating a golf cart on St-55 in the Town of Liberty.Rosendo was arrested for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st. He was arraigned in the Town of Liberty Court and was remanded to Sullivan County Jail on $10,000 bail.
State Police at SP Wurtsboro announce the arrest of Franscisco Rosendo, 45, of Brooklyn, NY for the misdemeanor of Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated and the felony of Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st. On June 29, 2011, State Police initiated a traffic stop of a golf cart on St-55 in the Town of Liberty. The driver was identified as Franscisco Rosendo and the subsequent interview revealed the smell of alcohol emanating from him. Rosendo was given a series of sobriety tests, and was subsequently found to be intoxicated. A file check of Rosendo revealed that he was also unlicensed.
