Skeletons in the Catskills

On Sunday, a human skeleton was found in the woods in the town of Thompson, near Monticello, the Times Herald-Record reports today. Disturbingly, this is the second human skeleton found in the area this year:

It was the second human skeleton discovered in the town of Thompson since May, when hikers found a partial skeleton of a woman lying above ground. Authorities later recovered most of the skeleton, including a skull, lower jaw and teeth. The state police crime lab in Albany determined the remains are those of a white woman, age late 20s to 40. She hasn't been identified.
