Turnwood Farm - Historic Farmhouse w/views in the Beaverkill Valley

Turnwood Farm is a historic family farmhouse situated on a 160-acre estate with breathtaking views. This is truly country living at its finest and is the perfect base for exploring what is arguably one of the most beautiful region of the Catskills, the Beaverkill Valley.

Downstairs, the home features a generous living room with a wood stove, and a bright country kitchen that opens to the dining area. There is an en suite bathroom in the king guest room on this level.

The remaining three bedrooms are upstairs off of a central landing with floor to ceiling bookshelves. The master queen bedroom features an en suite bathroom with clawfoot tub. The second guest room has two twin beds, and the third guest room has a single bed best suited as a child's room. The two upstairs guest rooms share a full bathroom off of the main landing.

The grounds have an enchanting "secret garden" feel, with winding stone pathways and steps overflowing with wild flowers and foliage. The well-maintained and gigantic red barn is off limits to guests but serves as a pleasing backdrop for relaxing country weekends. The sauna is located in a small outbuilding next to the barn. There are three ponds on the property. These are available for fishing and swimming, but please provide your own fishing poles and be advised that there are no swimming docks. The lower pond is stocked - please consider it catch and release, though in reality you're welcome to keep a couple! The ponds have a depth of around 20 feet.

A member of the Beaverkill Valley Mountain Club, Turnwood Farm comes with club access for reservations two weeks or longer, which includes highly-regarded dining, pool, tennis courts, access to 40 miles of private hiking and biking trails, and full access to a private mile of the trout-filled blue-ribbon Beaverkill River.
