We are seeking a friendly and professional team player to join our growing staff. Flexibility is a must in a small hotel, and the ability and willingness to help other departments even if it doesn't fall under your job title will make you a successful candidate. You must be able to work independently, but also as part of a team. You must be able to creatively solve problems balancing the goals of the hotel with superior customer service. (Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays) Wage based on experience.
Qualified candidates will have previous hotel experience, preferably in front of house operations. Prior supervisory/management experience a plus.
Computer competency is required, but experience with property management systems, or RoomMaster by Innquest in particular is a plus.
Candidate must possess a strong work ethic, with high energy and excellent communication skills.
Candidate shall be expected to identify current and anticipate potential future problems and take appropriate actions to avoid these issues.
The ability to provide the level of hospitality that our guests expect and the ability to handle all guests issues calmly and professionally.
Looks for ways to improve and promote quality, demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
Has the basic understanding of all operating departments and solid overall experience within the hotel business.
