Learn how to create a sustainable side hill trail that will last for decades. Principles of modern trail building will be taught in the field by our professional trail builder.
We will be working on the new trail at the Catskill Interpretive Center in Mt Tremper, NY which is right off the parking lot and has access to the building with restrooms.
Please make sure to wear your hiking boots; dress appropriately for the outdoor conditions and our trail building activities; pack plenty of water to stay hydrated; and bring a bag lunch.
All are welcome to attend, class starts at 9am and runs until 5pm (you can leave early if needed/ wanted). Please register for class here so we can ensure we have enough tools for everyone.
