Elegant country vacation rental just outside of happening Hudson

Come sample the finest of country living on an 18-acre working apple orchard. This stunningly beautiful country home with its elegant charm, modern conveniences and tasteful interiors, sits adjacent to its historical barn.  With a subtle and minimalist blend of antique pieces, colorful textiles and crisp linens, you may never want to leave.

Enter the front door directly into a pristine chef's kitchen, well-stocked and complete with modern appliances and ample counter space. One full bathroom is off of the kitchen. Exit the kitchen into the mudroom, where you will find three pairs of snowshoes and the space to stage your outdoor adventures. From the mudroom, enter the library with its mini-cocktail bar, working fireplace, sleek sofa and leather armchairs. The next doorway takes you into the spacious living room with a second working fireplace and high ceilings uncharacteristic to a house from this time period. The dining room is perfect for family dinners and provides access to the outdoor patio and the grounds.

At the top of the stairs to the second floor you will be greeted by a mid-century modern daybed on the landing. The landing opens up to two well-appointed bedrooms - one King and one Queen - as well as an additional sleeping cove with a full bed. The master bedroom has a large, en suite bathroom.

The house is equipped with central air conditioning and heating, as well as a Sonos music system and DirecTV. There is also a record player and a radio/speaker system that you can connect to directly from your device.

Head outside in the winter with the snowshoes provided at the house, or gather friends around the fire pit during the summer months. Feel free to cook from the large garden and grill from the patio. Reading from the hammock under the large pine trees is a dream. Or challenge your significant other to a game of corn hole.

The house is located just 10 minutes outside of historic Hudson, NY. A short stroll up or down Warren Street will take you to some of Upstate New York's best antique stores, restaurants, shops and bars. Head to Helsinki or the Half Moon for some amazing live music. Or stroll down to the riverfront to take in the views of the river and the majestic Catskill mountains beyond.
