Fresh Pork and Upcoming "Eat Like A Pig" Supper Club

Hi,
Fresh pork!  We will have the fresh heritage breed Tamworth and Ossabaw Island pork in the cooler this weekend.  Luscious! 

Supper Club
Coming up Saturday, Nov. 7 will be "Eat Like a Pig" Supper Club. We will be featuring three breeds of heritage pork in the menu: the rare Ossabaw Island, Tamworth and Gloucester Old Spot.  These are all pasture (and forest) raised on the farm, eating fruits, nuts, herbs and roots.  Rob will be incorporating these ingredients, what the pigs foraged, into the dishes.  Dinner starts at 7pm, $75 per person plus tax.  Please call to make a reservation 518-239-6234, secured with a credit card.

Order Your Turkeys!
Fresh turkeys will be available Nov. 21 & 22 by reservation.  Order your bird now ... we usually sell out! Turkey ordering form is attached.  The birds are fresh for Thanksgiving, but if you also want one for Christmas, we can freeze and store it for you.
 
A Holiday Goose
We also have a limited number of geese for the holidays. They range from 5-8 pounds.  Let me know what you would like, and I will save one for you.

Ordering Whole Lambs and Sides of Pork:
Let me know if you are interested in either lamb or pork ASAP.  The final harvests of pork will be in the next two weeks, so get your order in now.  Also, lamb will be available next week, and again early December. Stock your freezer with healthy, grassfed or pastured Animal Welfare Approved meats!

Breakfast Sandwich Farm made sausage, Brovetto cheese, and an egg on a farm made English muffin. Served with homefries (vegetarian optional) 10
 
Farmer’s Platter A farm fresh egg over red flannel hash (corned beef, beet, and potato hash), served with a side salad and a piece of southern style cornbread (GF) 10
 
Fruit and Cheese Plate Brovetto cheese, warm spiced apple compote, pickled plums, and a farm made English muffin (vegetarian, GF optional with cornbread) 8

Butternut Squash Soup Barber’s Farm butternut squash blended with vegetables, cream, and Cowbella creamline milk. Topped with bacon, walnut, and sage gremolata (GF, Veg optional) 6

Meatloaf Sandwich A slice of farm made meatloaf on an oat roll with Brovetto cheese, red onion, lettuce, and farm made ketchup. Served with a side salad 10
 
Farmhouse Salad  Roasted Barber’s Farm cauliflower, red onion, fennel, roasted squash, and massaged kale tossed in yogurt and pink peppercorn dressing and topped with Brovetto cheese. (GF, Veg) 9
 
Oink and Moo Chili  Our grassfed beef and chorizo sausage in a spicy bean and tomato base, served with Toma Celena grated cheese and sour cream, and a slice of corn bread (GF) 11
