Chuck D'Imperio ~ Reading & Book Signing
Visit the Delaware County Historical Association in Delhi on Saturday, April 9 at 2:00 pm as the museum sponsors a reading and book signing by author and local radio personality “Big” Chuck D’Imperio. D’Imperio will discuss some of upstate New York’s favorite people and places for food based on his book, A Taste of Upstate New York: The People and the Stories Behind Forty Food Favorites.
This book is a must-have for any road-tripper interested in the epicurean scene of New York State. One reviewer has written: "D’Imperio has done an admirable job of recognizing dozens of unique culinary icons, legendary food purveyors, and unique food traditions from all over upstate New York. The book celebrates their history and encourages readers to seek them out."
Chuck D’Imperio is the author of several books on upstate New York and its history. A question and answer period will follow Mr. D’Imperio’s presentation, along with a chance to purchase a signed copy of this and his other books. Refreshments served. Free and open to the public.
