You can't say he didn't warn you. A Walton man who allegedly bounced $3,000 in bad checks to local businesses was using checking accounts with names that hinted that payment wouldn't be forthcoming.

Thirty-five-year-old Lee S. McDonald wrote a series of bad checks in Walton from the business accounts of Dam Broke Farm, LLC and Blue Moon Construction & Electric, Inc., according to a press release from the Delaware County Sheriff's Office.
McDonald was arrested on Friday, Jan. 2 after a series of bad check complaints. He was charged with felony scheme to defraud and two misdemeanor charges of issuing a bad check.
Police say that more charges are pending, and that McDonald was " engaged in a systematic, on-going course of conduct to intentionally defraud a number of area businesses by issuing bad checks."
McDonald was arraigned in the town of Walton Court and is was remanded to the Delaware County Correctional Facility on $6,500 cash bail.
