78-year-old Lynn Gustafson of Oneonta was injured yesterday when her car ran off the road on Route 23 in Harpersfield. From the Delaware County Sheriff's Department:
On July 18, 2011 Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the scene of a one car personal injury motor vehicle accident on State Highway 23 in the Town of Harpersfield. Lynn Gustafson, 78, of Oneonta New York was operating a 1997 Honda CRV East on State Highway 23. Gustafson’s vehicle went off the South shoulder of the roadway traveling approximately 200 feet before striking an earth embankment. Gustafson was transported by helicopter to an area hospital for possible serious personal injuries she sustained in the motor vehicle accident. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
