I don't know how many times I've given up in despair while trying to to figure out how to take the Trailways bus to Port Authority from somewhere along Rte. 28.
First, there's the many different Trailways franchises to navigate: Pine Hill Trailways, Adirondack Trailways, and New York Trailways are all distinct operations, delineated by some secret formula known only to them.
And then there was the website, which posted schedules only in PDF format. No way to search, or to specify a departure or destination location. Just a static page. It was always better to call.
But now, it seems that Trailways has a new online interface that works like your average train, plane or automobile website of the modern age. It's beautiful. Someone's prayer was just answered.
