Supper Club this Saturday evening, May 16! A 5 course dinner, in fact, an AMAZING 5 course dinner by chef Rob Handel! We still have a few seats available, so contact me ASAP if you are interested. Reservations must be secured by a credit card. 7pm. $65/pp plus tax and gratuity.
Rob made a small batch of a seasonal sausage for the store ... Foraged Ramps and Riesling Pork Sausage. Packages in the sausage freezer. Yum!
Our goat Butter finally kidded ... a big healthy doeling ...the last one we've been waiting on. So kidding and lambing season has finished. The grass is coming up, the other animals are arriving. The season is filling in.
Come celebrate the farm season really kicking in. Sunday, May 24, Memorial Day weekend, for a holiday barbecue! Details to come! And note: May 30-31, Fiber Weekend!
This weekend's Cafe menu: Cafe Open Saturday and Sunday 10am-2pm
Fried Eggs- Two eggs fried or scrambled to your liking and served with homefries, a biscuit, and choice of sausage or corned beef hash (Veg optional) 9
Biscuits and Gravy- Two fresh baked biscuits smothered in sausage gravy and served with an egg fried to your liking 9
Crepes- Paper-thin pancakes served savory with ramp and Riesling sausage and mornay sauce, or sweet with farm made mascarpone and figs poached in port. Served with choice of sausage or corned beef hash (Veg optional, GF optional with buckwheat crepes) 11
Apple Streusel Muffin- A hearty muffin filled with apple and topped with streusel crumb topping (Veg) 3
Nettle Bisque- A creamy soup of foraged nettles blended with Cowbella creamline milk, asparagus, and jasmine and wild rices. Served with a dollop of farm made crème fraiche and Toma Celena cheese (Veg, GF) 6
Chicken Fricasse- A rich stew of braised chicken with Bulich’s mushrooms and white wine. Served over rice with a side salad (GF) 12
Farmhouse Salad- Spring greens and shaved endive with radish, grapes, red onion, and Toma Celena cheese tossed in yogurt and pink peppercorn dressing. (GF, Veg) 9
Dessert- Cream Cheese Brownies 6
