Many of Talbot’s landscapes are painted en plein air, starting with motifs of the trees and ponds of the Catskills, urban landscapes from Governors Island in New York City, and the rocky coast of Norway. She studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and the New York Studio School, has taught at the Art Students League and the New York Studio School, and currently teaches at NYC’s National Academy.
