Margaretville is commemorating the return of warm weather with A Spring Affair @ The Binnekill Square & Main St. Shops. Come and help celebrate the return of spring on May 10th from 10 – 4. As one walks along Main St., Stop by the Cheese Barrel, Margaretville Liquors and 768 Main to tempt your taste buds with tastings, drop in on Foothills Store and see the new spring shoes and Rejoice in the re-opening of Homegoods on the corner of Main and Bridge Streets. Binnekill Square is home to Wildflowers Florist, Little Sprouts and Mountain Yarns. There will be demonstrations all day of Rug Hooking, Spinning and Weaving to provide an educational and inspirational visit to all. Satch Waldman, from Pine Hill, will be playing the piano from 11-2, as well as local vendors selling pottery, jewelry, handcrafted outdoor furniture, flowers, candles, bed and bath goods, used books, a bake sale and food from Sam’s Country Store. The day is sure to lift ones spirit after the long winter that has passed, so come out and share in the warmth, shop local for mom and cheer the return of Spring!
