HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley® is proud to announce the launch of the Community Health Page, a new section of the website offering information on how HealthAlliance is providing care and the ways in which the organization impacts the community.
The Community Health Page includes details on the hospitals’ quality performance, making quality and performance data publicly available so community members can compare how HealthAlliance provides care relative to national and local benchmarks. Among other things visitors will also find a guide to reading a hospital bill, links to New York State hospital billing data, information on community partnerships as well as HealthAlliance’s economic impact and community service plans. HealthAlliance aims to incorporate specific pricing information in the future.
“As the healthcare landscape evolves, and HealthAlliance strives to become a model community hospital, it is essential for us to be transparent about our performance and our costs for providing care,” said David Scarpino, President and CEO of HealthAlliance. “The Community Health Page is a step in the right direction and does just that, providing the public with important details on how we are serving the community.”
The Community Health Page was developed in an effort to improve HealthAlliance’s transparency and share performance data with the public. HealthAlliance strives to provide the community with quality information and educational materials so individuals can make informed health care decisions.
