The Delaware County Chamber of Commerce collaborates with the business community and serves as the Tourism Promotion Agency for Delaware County. An integrated marketing communications plan now launches with the release of the 2014 Great Western Catskills Travel Guide and highlights the many extraordinary tourism businesses in the County.
“Our 2014 Great Western Catskills Travel Guide features tourism-related businesses from lodging, eateries, specialty shopping and attractions, to wedding facilities, outdoor recreation, agriculture and the arts,” stated Mary Beth Silano, Executive Director of the County Chamber. “This Guide is the jumping off point to a year of tourism promotion utilizing a new cohesive creative approach and messaging. Keep your eyes out for new ads and our travel icons, which highlight various tourism industries. Later this year, a new website will provide both locals and travelers alike the resources needed to make the most of the Great Western Catskills.”
The Chamber will orchestrate the distribution of fifty thousand Guides at travel shows in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Massachusetts. In addition, distribution will cover rest areas on Interstates 87, 81 and the PA Turnpike, in parts of Northern New Jersey and on the Metro North Train line.
