There is a more to a forest than just trees! Check out last July's 4th Annual Catskill Forest Festival. Wood products, maple syrup, firewood processors, sawmills, arts & crafts, and many more things that are "From the Forest" could be seen at the festival. Also exhibited was chainsaw carving, Game of Logging competition, maple tasting, and horse-rides for kids. Don't miss it next year. It's always the last Saturday in July from 10AM – 4PM at the Margaretville Park.
