Hi,
Yes, Fresh Brook Trout from the SUNY Cobleskill Aquaculture Program. Please contact me to reserve the number of fish you want. They will be processed on Friday, cleaned, head on and ready to cook. Very fresh! $9/lb and they average 1 to 1-1/4 pounds though some are smaller and some larger. Tell me what you'd like. We can bring them to the Saugerties Farmers Market on Saturday or you can pick up over the weekend at our store.
Fresh Chicken! We are very happy working with the mobile poultry unit right on our farm. We will have whole birds, halves and parts. Chicken and fish on the grill! Think about it!
Farm Tour
We will offer a guided farm tour on Saturday at 11am. See the animals and our methods of raising them. Great views from all the fields. We charge $5 per adult with up to two well-behaved children, and free if you stay for lunch. Rain date Sunday.
Our self-guided walks are also open during store/cafe hours (11am-3pm Saturday and Sunday.) There is an easy pasture walk and a moderate ridge trail, with a great picnic table on top of the mountain.
Turkeys!
You may not be thinking about Thanksgiving yet, but the turkey poults have arrived. You know that we sell out of turkey each year ... so the sooner you make your reservation the better.
