A member of the Sullivan County Farmers’ Market Association, the Kauneonga Lake Farmers’ Market (KLFM) boasts humble local crowds every Friday night from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Firefighter’s Pavilion. Whether you searching for that fresh fruity snack of the week or five-course menu ingredients, fifteen vendors routinely table at KLFM. Be it an opening course of fresh baked bread and locally crafted cheese to homemade chocolate chip cookies for dessert, to the wine pairing of local meats and organic veggie compliment slated for in between, shoppers need go nowhere else to shop for this weekend’s groceries.
The market hosts six organic farm operators who actively reflect a commitment to the environment and clean water in their farming practice choices. Just ask the farmer! Along with Lucky Dog and Neversink Farms, several other Pure Catskills members frequent the Kauneonga Lake Farmers’ Market too including Tonjes Farm Dairy, Eminence Road Farm Winery, and Oakworks Studio. Other vendors include:

At KLFM, it’s all about community, where no neighbor is without access to fresh, nutritious food. That’s why several vendors accept EBT Tokens (Beack Lake Bakery, Burd Farm, Neversink Farm, Sherman Hill Farmstead, Silver Heights Farm, Trapani Farms) and FMNP vouchers for fruits and vegetables (three certified organic farms -- Butchie’s, Lucky Dog and Neversink – as well as Maynard Farms). For more information on these local food access alternatives, see the market manager on Friday afternoon. The Kauneonga Lake Farmers’ Market also invites new vendors and products to its short & sweet market treat; contact manager@
