Tabitha Gilmore-Barnes will demonstrate traditional weaving techniques and offer some hands on fun for children on July 6, from 10 - 12pm at the Pakatakan Farmers Market, Route 30, Halcottsville. Tabitha has been weaving since the mid-1970s, following a dream from high school days. This is the first of eight artist demonstrations and children’s workshops scheduled this summer as part of the Catskill Mountain Artisans Guild “Traveling Show” series.
The traveling craft shows and arts series is presented by the Catskill Mountain Artisans Guild and funded in part by the Small Business Development Fund administered by the MARK Project, the O’Connor Foundation and the Kids in the Kaatskills.
