The Delaware County Historical Association is offering a one-day trip on a luxury motor coach to Albany on Thursday September 12, 2013 for a day of research and learning at the New York State Archives, Library and Museum. The day will start with an orientation to the archives and manuscripts division of the library, followed by a tour of the Civil War exhibit at the State Museum led by the New York State historian. Lunch will be on your own (you may bring lunch if you wish), followed by a chance to see more of the museum or to spend a couple of hours researching in the archives or library.
Cost: $40 DCHA members and $60 non-members. Part of the cost is intended as a fundraiser for DCHA.
(Passengers may board the motor coach in Oneonta at 6am and in Delhi at 7am. Depart for return trip home at 3:30pm)
