Hi,
A warm sunny weekend predicted ahead! The umbrellas will be up at the picnic tables! The garden flowers are in bloom and the mountain view is lush and green! Come enjoy lunch at the Bees Knees Cafe!
There will be fresh chicken in the cooler. We are making more andouille and hot Italian sausages today. We are well stocked with all our meats, chicken, local cheeses, syrup, honey, jams and more.
Jane's Perennials
Jane is hoping to start bringing her organically grown perennial potted herbs and flowers for you to add to your gardens. Look for her table outside! Jane loves to "talk garden," so bring her your questions.

Next weekend, June 8 and 9th, we will have fresh Lamb and fresh Chicken. Later in the month we will have fresh Pork, and early July we will have fresh Beef. Farm tours will start soon ... details to come!

Thank you all who braved the freakishly cold and damp weather Memorial Day weekend to make all our projects a success! We were happily jammed inside the cafe, Saugerties Farmers Market folks braved the wind, and festival goers still went to the East Durham Irish Festival (mostly on Sunday!) and enjoyed our sheep at the traditional cottage. Thank you all for your support to kick off the season.
And thanks to our great family of a staff and friends here. Mark had to work out of the car in Saugerties since it was too windy to put up the tents on Saturday. Christine, Jane, Kate, Maggie and Molly just made it all work at the festival, staffing the booth, graciously demonstrating spinning and knitting. The two ewes and their two sets of triplets were stars of the show ... thanks to John and our dog Peig who tended them at the Irish Fest. And Alice, Ashley, Anna, Billie, Mark and Beth handled the cafe and store, and all the farm chores, like champs! Thank you all! Lots more photos are going up on our Facebook page.
John set up a temporary pen for Heather, Cookie and their sets of triplets at the traditional Irish cottage at the Festival. The sheep enjoyed all the attention!
Meanwhile, back on the farm, the charcuterie and local cheese platter was being served!
