Susan's Pleasant Pheasant Farm is located next to the waterfalls on a mile of river just north of Margaretville, in the small hamlet of Halcottsville, New York. The river and Lake Wawaka offer great nature sightings on a daily basis. We have eagles, osprey, mergansers, great blue heron and many other resident birds to catch your attention.
Turn off Route 30 into the village and step back in time. We also have crafts available for rent on the Pepacton Reservoir.
Susan’s Pleasant Pheasant Farm has kayak and canoe rentals available to explore Lake Wawaka. Bring a camera, a picnic, or a fishing pole and spend the day on the water. We have several miles of trails to hike on property to round out your adventure.
We carry the Johnson outdoors line of products including Old Town kayaks and canoes, Ocean Kayaks, Necky Kayaks, Carlisle paddles and Extrasport life jackets.
