Come to the Pre-Memorial Day Holiday Pop-Up Farmers' Market on Thursday, May 23, 2013 from 3:30 to 6 PM at the Railroad Station, 21 Railroad Avenue, Stamford, NY!

RAIN OR SHINE!

The market is right before the long Memorial Day weekend and 35 vendors will have all kinds of local goodies available to help complete your celebration. There is plenty of parking available.

With over thirty vendors, some of the items you can expect to see at the market are:

• Dairy products, including yogurt, butter, cheese

• Farm-fresh meat (chicken, lamb, pork, and beef)

• Baked goods, from galettes to pies and freshly-baked bread

• Farm fresh eggs

• Marmalades, preserves, jams, jellies, fudge and honey

• Pickles

• Local wine

• Body care item such as soaps, salves, creams

• Equestrian riding apparel and accessories

You will also be able to pick up table and home decor, cookbooks, hand-crafted gift items, jewelry, and pottery, including dishware.

Kiddie Corner Pre-School will be serving up their world-famous soups and stews to go, in case you get hungry while you’re shopping. The Stamford Rotary Club will be grilling up fresh burgers on site, made with locally-raised beef from Weinland Farms in Hobart. Grab a couple for dinner that night!
