Fleischmanns' largest street fair of the season comes on Saturday, May 25

Antique cars, music, square dancing, vendors, a food court & more!

This Memorial Day Weekend, Saturday May 25, Fleischmanns will once again host a village-wide celebration and street fair, with a full day of shopping, music, food and fun.

Fleischmanns Main Street will be filled with sidewalk vendors and live music. New for this year will be a display of antique and classic cars, which should keep dad and the kids occupied so mom can shop as long as she wants! Fleischmanns Maple Court, the princesses and a prince, crowned by Supervisor Marjorie Miller during Fleischmanns First's Maple Festival, will be in attendance and will ride down Main Street at 12:30pm in an antique car!

Mountain music and more...
Songstress Cat Blume, "the singer with a song in her heart" will emcee the musical entertainment, which includes Connie Mohar and Jeanne Palmer on accordion and fiddle, square dancing in honor of Hilton Kelly by Stella Kelly & the "Sidekicks" the Catskills Mountain Boys, and of course, Cat Blume herself, covering the musical landscape from standards and blues to country and Doo Wop.

You'll also have plenty of time to shop Main Street from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., browsing everything from antiques and hand-made furniture to specialty foods, artists' wares, clothing, jewelry and crafts, including chimes, birdhouses, tote bags, metalworks and much more. Skene Library hosts its biggest fundraiser of the year, its annual book and plant sale, and the Greater Fleischmanns Museum of Memories opens for the season. There'll be a food court with restaurant specials to fortify all the hungry shoppers.

As always, Fleischmanns will host a Memorial Day Parade on Main Street on Monday, May 27. Be sure to gather before 9 a.m. if you would like to march along.
