Neighbor to Neighbor: Family Music for Sandy Relief is a spectacular compilation of music, the sales of which will benefit downstate victims of Hurricane Sandy. Recalling how downstaters came to our aid after Hurricane Irene devastated our region last year, local storyteller & musician Story Laurie McIntosh asked fellow Catskills/Hudson-based musicians to help return the favor by donating their talent to this digital-download compilation.
You can buy Neighbor to Neighbor now at http://neighbortoneighbor.bandcamp.com/ -- either as an instant download, or in the form of a download gift card that can be sent directly to your loved ones (in time for Valentine's Day if ordered by Noon, Monday 2/11). Neighbor to Neighbor is the perfect way to send a meaningful gift to a loved one, and spread the love to people in need at the same time.
All proceeds from Neighbor to Neighbor will be distributed (via regional NFP THe M-ARK Project, who's administering the funds) to two amazing grassroots neighborhood organizations who've been providing endless relief & recovery since the storm: The Action Center, Far Rockaway, Queens, and Camp Bulldog, Lindenhurst, Long Island.
