Sweet Italian and Chorizo
We'll have freshly made sausages, both Sweet Italian and Chorizo, in the cooler this weekend. We are fully stocked with
all our products and will continue to be open every Saturday, 11am-3pm, throughout the winter and spring.
Snowshoe Trek
Conditions seem right! A good snow pack and a sunny, crisp day predicted for this Saturday. Christine will lead a snowshoeing tour
on the farm, through our fields and woods. Expect spectacular views of the Catskills! Reservations appreciated. Meet at the
store at 12 noon. The easy-moderate trek will last an hour or so, plenty of time to have a hot lunch and shop before or after it.
January Mixed Meat Box Special
Each winter we offer "box specials," collections of meat or chicken at a special price. This year, the box specials will be
representative of our CSA Subscription Box Program. For January, we offer a Mixed Meat Box. This box will include:
Beef Pot Roast
2 Rib Eye steaks
Beef Cross-cut Shanks
Pork Sausage
4 Lamb Chops
The value of the cuts will be over $100, but will be available for $90, a 10% discount. Recipes and cooking tips included! Please contact us,
by e-mail or phone, to order your box. It can be picked up any Saturday in January.
The February box will be a Mixed Chicken Box.
CSA Subscription Program
Last year we began our Subscription Box Program, to the mutual benefit of our customers and ourselves. For the customers,
the program offers regular monthly supply of meat and/or chicken, a discount for paying in advance, and a locked-in price for the
whole year. For us, we are supported by our customers commitment, know better how much product to grow and level out our cash flow.
We offer a 5 month (June through October) and a 12 month program, starting in June.
Here are the subscription box choices:
Whole Chicken Box (4-5 whole chickens, depending on size)
Chicken Parts Box (One whole chicken, assorted legs, wings and breasts)
Mixed Meat Box (assorted cuts of beef pork and lamb, cuts determined appropriate to the seasonal cooking)
Mixed Meat and Chicken Box (Two whole chickens and assorted cuts of meat, like ground beef, sausage and steaks)
Pick which box or boxes you want, and receive them monthly starting in June. They can be picked up here at our store, shipped to you
for the cost of shipping UPS, or picked up at several other locations in the area, such as the Catskill Country Store in Catskill,
Stoneledge Farm CSA site in South Cairo, the Medusa General Store, and more.
Each box will have a value of over $100 if the cuts are purchased separately. With your 5 month or 12 month paid in advance
subscription, you receive 10% discount. The 5 month subscription cost $450, for a value of $500 worth of products.

Come see the animals in their winter quarters. Sheep, goats, llamas, alpaca, donkey, laying hens, geese and guinea fowl.
Please make reservations. (Another farm tour scheduled for February 23).
