One more Judith Lamb for 2012

"My interest is to take the ordinary and make it unique," says Ms. Lamb, adding that all the objects she paints are "familiar to everyone and therefore often taken for granted." Judith Lamb seeks to compose and execute those objects so that "their beauty becomes apparent."

Judith Lamb, 2012

Chace-Randall Gallery is thrilled to have one more Judith Lamb painting for 2012. Not a prolific painter, Ms. Lamb is already working on her Chace-Randall 2014 exhibition. Still, we managed to get one more in the gallery for the year.

One of the most respected painters in the Catskills, Ms. Lamb's work is highly coveted. Indeed, 23 of the 25 paintings in her July 2012 exhibition sold!: www.chacerandallgallery.com/judithlamb2012.htm. From inventory, 5 more sold from previous shows. "I, too, am guilty of needing Judith's work in my private life...I personally own 5," says Chace-Randall Gallery Owner/Director Zoe Randall.

The above image is cursory, but paints the picture. All of Judith Lamb's work must be seen "in person." Gallery Hours: Saturday - Sunday and Holiday Firdays and Mondays 11 - 5 and by appointment. For more information, call 845.676.4901 or visit www.chacerandallgallery.com.
