We're hosting another edition of our popular "Facebook for Businesses" class on Wednesday, November 28 from 6:30pm to 8pm. Come by and work off your Thanksgiving pounds with ninja tricks for the biggest of all social media websites.
The class costs $35. It will be held in the classroom at the Delaware County E-Center at 5 1/2 Main Street in Delhi, next to the Pizza Hut. Laptops will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. Facebook for businesses: A beginner's guide
Make Facebook's powerful free tools promote your business while keeping your private life private. Learn our hard-won ninja tricks. A basic introduction to Facebook for those with little or no experience with social media.
At the end of the session, you will be able to:
- Write an irresistible status update
- Know the thing that Facebook pages with thousands of “likes” all have in common
- Understand the zen art of posting -- how often, what to say, what not to say
- Outsmart Facebook’s default privacy settings to keep your business and personal info separate
- Decode the statistics of your page
- Deflect stalkers and rewarding good behavior on your Facebook page
- Know what that “@” symbol does
All courses are held in the Computer Training Room at the Delaware County E-Center (5½ Main St. Delhi, NY 13753). Each workshop costs $35 and lasts 90 minutes. Each workship has an enrollment minimum of 5 people and a maximum of 16 people. If fewer than 5 people have enrolled in the workshop 24 hours before it is scheduled to be held, the workshop will be cancelled and all fees will be refunded.
