Would you care for some pie?

Sometimes (most times) I'm too lazy to make home-made pie. I go for that fake-crust and out of the can stuff. "How then," I ask myself, "Do I impress my friends and family with my amazing pie skills without actually making pie?"

Well friends, our chef Chris isn't too lazy to make pie. I saw him baking away last night -- sadly without the frilly apron and high heels like moms in the 50's used to wear, but that's ok I guess. Even without nostalgic (cross-dressing) wardrobe, Hogan's General Store has home-made pumpkin pie for the holidays! We've also got strawberry-rhubarb pie, fruits of the forest pie, and maple-crusted apple pie (my favorite).

Hogan's also has meatloaf sandwiches today, so stop on in for a bite before you get to that Thanksgiving prepping.

The Backroom will be open on black friday... serving things that are most decidedly NOT turkey. Nothing is solid yet, but the word on the grapevine is we may be having either BBQ or Chinese specials along with our mainstays like Roast Chicken and Pot Roast and Pie Pie.
