Paella Party, Artists & Collectors: Must make Annual Event

Chace-Randall Gallery and Artist Rimer Cardillo embarked on what must become an Annual Event: Woodfire stirred paella at the home and studio of Cardillo and his family. The food, the setting, Cardillo's art filled studio, did we mention the food?, as well as the company is sublime!

Artists contributed a dish to pass. Gallerist Zoe Randall carted in a case of wine. Cardillo prepared fritattas, homemade pizzas, bread puddings, and, most importantly, the paella, cooked in a 3-foot pan over a carefully tended woodfire. A heron swept over the pond. Collectors from NYC left work a bit early and stopped first at this Wallkill celebration before heading further up the mountain. "We must make this an annual event," announced Cardillo. Indeed.
