Taking a quiet Sunday moment to download Lisa Candela hipstamatics from our weekend Chair dinner party, celebrating the arrival of artist Stacy Gibboni from Venezia. After the hired sedan pulls onto Main Street, Andes, from NYC, after the unpacking of imploding suitcase of catalogs and press mats, the antique desk chair hauled from SoHo, the altered version of a book entitled Musical Chairs...after gallery artist Lisa Candela and new Bovina denizens Michael and Eloise Dagostino arrive for dinner, gallerist/chef Zoe Randall with crab legs, local cheese, olives, spicy bay scallop veggie pasta, fig balsamic vinegrette salad, dining chairs plumped with silk cushions...we, including poet husband Tom Lavazzi, take chocolate and deep red wine down to the gallery and test Gibboni's installation of Musical Chairs. (though Stacy Gibboni the queen of chairs, we all enjoyed a bit of the diva...contagious).
