Local veganic produce in southern Delaware County

In season, most weeks a wonderful array of astonishingly beautiful local produce arrives.  This week it's cucumbers, yellow summer squash, zucchini, new white potatoes, new red potatoes, white summer onions, leeks, early green cabbages, lettuces, swiss chard, kale (3 varieties), beets, parsley. It's all a treat to see and even better when it's nourishing every cell in your body.

And what's veganic?  Not just organically grown (they're also that), but a step further: Crops are grown without any animal products, including manures.  Debate the merits, but this stuff is gorgeous.

Of course, there's much more than produce to come see; this week we have fresh, tender, plump Delaware County pastured chickens and East Coast tuna.  Plus a full line of dairy, grocery, imported cheeses, bulk, body care, and supplements.   And wonderful local pottery.

We call it a "supermarket in a shoebox." It's worth the trip!
